Jeff Tochterman is an accomplished trial attorney who has practiced before trial and appellate courts in Greater Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area since 1994. Mr. Tochterman founded his own law office in 2000 as a criminal and civil law litigation firm and has earned a considerable reputation as a forceful and successful trial and appellate advocate. As a civil litigator, Mr. Tochterman represents both plaintiffs and defendants. Experience acquired from the litigation of probate and estate planning cases led Mr. Tochterman to expand his practice in 2002 to estate planning and trust administration. Specialized clerical support and customized software have enabled the firm to process hundreds of estate plans for clients throughout Northern California. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Tochterman worked as a litigator for the Law Office of Donald Masuda in Sacramento, defending and prosecuting cases in jury trials. He was a litigator for the Moore Law Firm in San Jose from 1995 to 1998, and a deputy public defender for the Sacramento County Public Defender's Office from 1994 to 1995. Mr. Tochterman received his bachelor's degree in history from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1989, and his law degree from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, in 1993. | |
